Podcasts

  • WCI - Disability Claims - make sure even if you are dealing with friends on an issue that things are being documented. Protect against catastrophe

  • The Game - take more risks in your 20-30s

  • Chek - Tea while having caffeine can help with mental clarity with meditation practices.

  • Huberman - Physical environment - talked about the importance of fractiles and spending time in nature. Doesn’t matter on the temperature outside or if you like it. It can be a reset and improve cognition

  • Money Meets Medicine - if you enter into contracts ensure you think about the breakup from the beginning

  • Knowledge Project - Dan Kahneman - we all have biases. Don’t ignore or minimize the perspective of someone offering a contrary opinion. Seek to understand their perspective.

  • The Drive - AMA episode - didn’t have any major take aways

Courses

  • Early - really trying to push and just be done with this to simplify what I’ve got going on. The primary focus was on exercise. They do a lot more work with corrections than I do. I do think breath work is really important and haven’t been incorporating that as much as I potentially should. Do what you’re not doing - if you only lift weights, do some cardio or stability work and vice versa.

  • ACLM Board Review - their big push is a plant based diet.

Birthday workout and body comp

  • Wife and I got to workout together for the first time in a while. Just did 37 reps squatting.

  • Body comp was improved from the last check - PBF was down and VAT was down which was reassuring. Checked blood pressure and it was normal, didn't really expect that. Still carrying almost all the fat in the trunk, based on Charles Poloquins old biosig it means I'm stressed.

    • Weight: 201.8

    • SMM: 105.2

    • PBF: 9.7

    • VAT: 38.5
