Training Log 4.26.26

Overall:

Frustrating start to the week. Went to train on Monday and my R hand was swollen and I couldn’t grip a barbell. Some of this was from aggravating my hand arthritis and the other part was not getting any quality of sleep going into the week. Was supposed to be a 95% load on squat and was frustrating not being able to go into a higher intensity on that. Rest of the week things felt pretty good. Felt nice feeling like most of the training maxes are generally accurate.

Recovery has finally come up. HRV is back to 90+ whereas it was down in the 70s with a low of 55 in the past couple weeks. Most of that was just due to poor sleep.

End of March through April was one of the more challenging months I’ve had in a while. I’m hopeful that things can get a lot more squared away in May and as things head into the summer.
