Training Log 4.12.26

Overall:

Feels like it’s been the least I’ve trained over the past couple of weeks. I think it’s impacting me from a decompression standpoint. Didn’t realize how reliant I was on BJJ for social support and decompression, but it really helps. Between illness in the home that’s lasted the past couple of weeks and some scheduling challenges it’s been a tough couple of weeks.

Good news for the practice this week that I hope puts us in the right direction long term. I’m really hoping it increases the quality of care for patients over time.

Family is on the mend now which is great. Knocking on wood as I write this out. Had a long drive this weekend where I was doing seem continuing education. Got frustrated at the platform as it required constant clicking and I just got frustrated. Didn’t get the normal clean up time and that always mentally messes with me until I can get it done.

Recovery was poor this past week, sleep wasn’t great and it showed in training. Should probably do more from a rest/recovery standpoint, but also want to get back into the normal routine. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a reasonable signal to push or if there’s a reasonable way to ease back into things.

Have been utilizing resources and having cool conversations that make me optimistic about the future. Really hope to create a system where we not only care about patients, but provide the highest level of care.
