Training Log 6.22.25

I kept a training log online fairly consistently for about 15 years. Prior to that in school, I was a big fan of the workout notebooks where I wrote down sets and reps.  It’s been about a year since I’ve done this consistently and this was one of the years that I felt potentially the most “off” of my life. I’m uncertain how much to correlate the lack of check ins and progress, but I’m curious if that’s contributing to the current state of feeling like I’ve been at a plateau or regression. Hoping to reintroduce to see if that helps with a sense of gratitude and for information retention over time. Just need to start doing this again for accountability. Should turn into a training review and reading notes, but that will likely develop over time.

Training:

Tuesday - this was the start of the decline this week. Was supposed to be a testing week and felt off. Deadlifts were not where they typically are so did some speeds sets and shut it down. Achilles was flared bad W-F. Was able to get on the bike.

BJJ:

2x M/Sun

Sleep: Worsened throughout the week. Relatively poor. Averaging 6:30 per night.

Stress: Per Garmen 39 is the average. No clue what this means.
